NIGHT!
FRIDAY 20TH JANUARY
We recently
held a Charity Night at the Academy to raise money for Wish Upon a Star and Lilly Atkin, a local baby who suffers from Flat
Head Syndrome. We had a fantastic night, raising £300 in total, by our generous students, families and friends in the
Academy donating and buying cakes (supplied by our lovely students Jason and Sam, and parent Hannah!) The Scunthorpe Evening
Telegraph reported on the night, which featured fitness, fun, board breaking and lots more!
GRADUATION
WHAT A GREAT DAY WE HAD AT GRADUATION, IT WAS FANTASTIC
TO SEE ALL OUR STUDENTS RECEIVING THEIR NEXT BELTS AND CERTIFICATES!

John Turners Black Belt Academy have recently worked in conjunction with the Kumon Centre, Brigg
(an out of school learning facility) to provide demonstrations of Martial Arts at the Kumon Awards Night. JTBBA and Kumon
both share similar beliefs and values for their students, including training regularly, having the perseverance to not give
up when a task becomes challenging, and keeping focused on the goal ahead.
